Lisenced to Drive

We bought Nora a toy Barbie car, and Tim taught her how to drive it today. When she first realized it moved her eyes opened as wide as can be, but she also smiled from ear to ear. I don't think Nora could decide between being scared and excited. What fun though!

Nora also got to play with a caterpillar for the first time. I guess we need to practice gentle touches, because Nora squeezed it a little too hard. Tim saw it coming, but let's have a moment of silence for that poor little caterpillar. It will never experience the joy of becoming a butterfly. God rest it's soul. . . :D

I'm too pretty . . .

Pretty on my left.
Pretty on my right.
So darn pretty, I can't sleep at night!

Nora is becoming such a pretty girl. She LOVES jewelry. My mom was amazed at how Nora knew exactly what to do with her watch when she picked it up. Earlier this week, I had to let Nora wear my necklace to church because she REFUSED to take it off. And here is the kicker. Tim says that Nora has been trying to put her own bows in her hair every morning. When they fall out, she cries until Tim clips it in. She then feels to be sure it is there and then she is fine. Cute - I know. Nora's my little future soror. I love it!

Pretty on my right.
Pretty on my left.
So darn pretty, I can't help myself.

Here a picture of Nora with her bow in. Yes, she finally has enough hair! :D

Easter in the Big Easy

We spent Easter weekend in Louisiana. Tim and I went fishing with Poppa, and Nora got to spend some quality time with Nana. They went to an Easter egg hunt/crawfish boil. According to everyone there, Nora was very particular about who she would go to. Our cousin, Travis, looks a lot like Uncle Bubba. He says Nora almost came to him until she got close enough to realize that it was not Bubba. :D (funny) Also, Nora was terrified of the Easter bunny. That was a surprise to me. I thought she would love it.

A Weekend At Mama J's

Nora is preparing to spend the weekend with Mama J while Mommy and Daddy go to a marriage conference in downtown Atlanta. We are all excited, but a little nervous. This is our first night apart.

Nora -
"You should see Mommy's 7 pages of notes. . . She's a little crazy- just a little!"

After the weekend:
Nora's weekend with Mama J was FANTASTIC! Mama J had nothing but good things to say. Nora went to church with Mama J on Sunday and the report was "Nora can hold her own." -She is one fiesty gal!" :D Nora came home with 4 or 5 new beautiful dresses.

Nora -
"Thanks Grandma! We'll have to do it again."

Mommy & Daddy -

"Soon!" :D

Two Dates in One Weekend

What a busy little lady Nora was this past weekend.

Nora had a great dinner date with Evan Cooper. It had been about a month since we have seen Evan and his family. Boy! He has definitely grown up! He is precious and he even shared his food with Nora. What a gentleman in the making. :D We'll have to do a better job of spending more time with the Cooper family.

Also, thank you Uncle Bubba and Aunt Jackie for taking Nora to a cool birthday party. From what I hear it was a BLAST and the food was pretty good too. Oh! I don't know if we shared the good news. Nora's new cousin is be a BOY! His name is Austen Jack. We can't wait to meet him.
