So much to catch up on!!!

Where do I start? . . . I have literally looked at this site time and time again and I have been avoiding spending the time it will take me to catch up on everything that has happened since NOVEMBER. Yes, November. . . I know it is March, but hey, I've been doing my best. :D

Let's take it month by month . . .DECEMBER
-Oh No She Didn't!
FUNNY! Nora wore her new suit to Bible study only to discover Laine has the same one. They were so cute together. We decided to take a picture.

-Decking the Halls
Nana, Poppa, Maw-Maw, and Paw-Paw helped us put up our Christmas trees. Nora had a great time looking at the lights. She had her own little tree in her room. her ornaments were little Sesame Street books that sang when you pressed a button. Every night before bed Nora had to listen to at least 3 books. She got to the point where she pointed to the Christmas trees and said "tee." Aaahh! How cute!?!

-A Family Trip
We visited the Georgia Aquarium with Mama J and cousin Preston. It was loads of fun. Tim and I were unsure as to how Nora would react, but she LOVED it. Nora really enjoyed looking at the fish.

The highlight: Seeing a man in scuba gear cleaning the tanks. Nora pointed and yelled to get his attention. The man finally waved at Nora, who then smiled an gigantic smile. What fun!

-Christmas with Mama J
We celebrated Christmas twice. The weekend before the actual holiday we went to celebrate with Mama J, Aunt Mandy, Uncle Nick, and Cousin Preston. Nora received her first baby doll, a doll stroller, a push car, and several gorgeous outfits. Not bad at all for the week before Christmas. I guess Santa really does take care of really good little girls. :D (Nora really loved her baby doll. Every time she held her, she would MAKE Tim and I kiss the doll. I wonder if that's what she feels we did to her. The stroller also got Nora a little bit closer to walking. We're holding our breath. . . Any day now and she'll take that first step.)

-Our Road Trip To Louisiana

We drove to Louisiana for Christmas. Nora did fine and basically slept the entire way there. We were pleasantly surprised since we had no idea of what to expect. When we arrived at Nana and Poppa's house there were lights everywhere. We felt as if we had entered a "winter wonderland."
Nora woke up that morning to a new toy car, a light-up mirror that sings, a shopping cart, her first holiday Barbie, a white fur coat with matching hat, and several books. With all the toys from family, Tim and I were able to buy the necessities. (ie. pajamas, diapers, onesies, etc.)
Nora's Favorite Thing:
The light up mirror. Nora could not and still cannot get enough of the lights, the music and the fun of the mirror. Tim and I even catch ourselves singing them sometimes. That wiggle song is quite catchy :D We have come to realize that Nora is a dancing machine! More on that to come.
